About Our Program:The Rio Vista Eagle Bands are comprised of students enrolled in grades 6-12 in the Rio Vista ISD. These students {1} participate in one of three ensembles, which are: High School Band ("The Eagle Pride"), Middle School Band, and Beginner Band. Both High School and Middle School groups participate in all areas of UIL competition and ATSSB All State Auditions, in UIL/TMEA/ATSSB Region VII. The Beginner Band competes each spring in an invitational concert competition. Both the High School and Middle School Band's have competitive Winterguard groups who compete in the North Texas Colorguard Association (NTCA) Circuit in the January - March, Winterguard season.

Alignment: With the start of the 2006-2007 school year, UIL, TMEA, and ATSSB will operate under new Region and Area Alignments. RVHS will remain in Region VII and in Area Central (ATSSB) / Area D (UIL) [Area D/Central includes Regions 7, 8, 9, 18,19, 23, 26, & 27]
