RVISD’s non-discrimination policy:
The District prohibits discrimination, including harassment, against any student on the
basis of race, color, religion, sex, gender, national origin, disability, age, or any other
basis prohibited by law. The District prohibits dating violence, as defined by this policy.
Retaliation against anyone involved in the complaint process is a violation of District
policy and is prohibited.
Rio Vista ISD’s staff have been trained with Leasor Crass, P.C. “New Title IX Rules and
Regulations” series. Training materials are available upon request.

Alleged misconduct should may be reported to the district’s Title IX Coordinator by mail,
telephone, email or by any other means verbal or written. The complainant may file a formal
complaint - a third-party reporter may report alleged misconduct, but not file a formal complaint.
