    • HS Band makes 3rd trip to Walt Disney World and performs in the Main Street Parade in the Magic Kingdom. This time, Universal Studios was included. The trip was an even bigger success than 2007! The performance was outstanding, and was only made better by it being the evening parade before Magic Kingdom's SpectroMAGIC parade.

    • Eagle Pride makes return visit to the Cleburne Christmas Parade after a 6 year absence - plans are to return each December.
    • Stephen Duncan, Clarinet, 12th Grade - advances to ATSSB All State Band for 4th consecutive year, 1st Chair Symphonic Band

    • Stephen Duncan, Clarinet, 11th Grade - ATSSB All State Band, 3rd year (5th Chair Symphonic Band)
    • HS Marching Band largest in school history! 34 high school members plus 4 middle school members for a total of 38.
    • HS Band achieves its first ever Division 1 rating for marching, and advances to the UIL Area D Marching Contest also for the first time.
    • 10 HS Band Members & 2 Middle School Band Members were selected to the All District Band. This is the most HS students selected to date. The previous high was 6.
  • 2006-2007

    • HS Band receives distinction of Region VII AA Honor Band and advances to the Area Level where they placed 5th.
    • HS Band makes 2nd trip to Walt Disney World and performs in the Main Street Parade in the Magic Kingdom. The trip was an unparalleled success!

    • 10 Students advance to UIL State Solo & Ensemble: Stephen Duncan, 9th Clarinet Solo - Clarinet Choir: Stephen Duncan, 9th; John Paris, 10th; Adrian Rodriguez, 10th; Jessica Rowlett, 11th; and Jessica Weatherford 10th - Percussion Ensemble: Justin Fuchs, 11th; Garrett Gohlke, 12th; Emory Horn, 8th; Leslie Horn, 10th; Katy Reed, 12th

    • Aaron Williams, Horn, 12th Grade - selected as one of 400 from across the US as a member of the BOA Tournament of Roses Honor Band marching in the 2005 Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, CA.
    • 4 students advance to UIL State Solo & Ensemble: Aaron Williams, 12th Grade, Horn Solo - Miscellaneous Woodwind Trio, Brandy Chapman, 10th, Flute; Jennifer Brown, 12th, Flute; and Jessica Rowlett, 10th, Clarinet
    • HS spring trip to Corpus Christi and Buccaneer Classic Festival - First Division performance and "Best in Class" AA
    • The Eagle Pride sports its 4th uniform giving the band a fresh new look.
  • 2003-2004

    • Brandy Chapman, 9th, Piano - first student from Rio Vista to advance to UIL State Solo & Ensemble
    • HS Band Travels to Breckenridge, CO and competes in the Breckenridge Classic and earns 1st division.

    • Ryan Hill, 12th, Percussion - First RVHS Band member to receive Division I on a class 1 solo at UIL Solo & Ensemble Contest

    • HS Performs at UIL Concert & Sight Reading for the first time in almost a decade
